“La La Land” Nominated for 14 Oscars

There are some big expectations for “La La Land” at the upcoming Oscars in February, after the film hit big earlier at the 74th Golden Globe Awards.
The musical starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling won more awards to that of any other film at the GGA.
Announced on Tuesday, “La La Land” is nominated for a whooping total of 14 Academy Awards. It is the first film in many years to receive this many nominations, the others being “All About Eve” (1950) and “Titanic” (1997).
In order to break the highest record for most awards at the Oscors, the musical film will have to win at least 12 awards, as the record currently sits at 11 having been achieved by “Ben-Hur” (1960), “Titanic” (1998) and “Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” (2004).
